  1. I saw that Lt. Col. Glen Martin was your favorite Marine. He's also one of mine. He's my grandfather. He's alive and kicking. Slowing down, but doing ok. Still has that amazing sense of humor and quiet strength. He's got 16 grandchildren and a good smattering of great grandchildren. I always looked up to him growing up. I didn't know much about his service until I was older. He, and a few other Marines I know, had a major impact on my life and their example helped me find my path. I thought you'd like to know. I hope you are also doing well and that you get this note. Semper Fi! - Capt. Mary Bittner

  5. I don't know if your message is supposed to be humorous, sarcastic, or sincere, but I do know, I'm not happy with it, DRB.

Once again, it is time to say, "hello". Here's hoping that you and yours have the best day possible. I sure as heck am going to give it a go. Oops, I'd better take my meds first.
  10. Gary,
Thank you for the greeting, and S/F!! I just got a new lens put in my right eye, last Wednesday. Now if I can get my other eye, and my budget straightened out, I'\ll be in the clover. Ken
