Hello Billy.

During the Nam there was a recruit in one of the platoons of a series I worked. This guy had helped develope a radar tower that was at Marble Mountain in the Nam. The story was that this guy volunterred to go to the Nam and oversee the repair of this tower. I saw this guy on graduation day and he was sporting GySgt. chevrons. I say the chevrons on him, bu still do not know if the story is true.

Billy, Thank you very much for the kind words. It was many years ago that my daughter passed and I went to the bottle thinking that it would help. If anything the bottle made things worse. When my daughter would be out of remission and we would have to put he in Naval Hospital, San Diego there were 19 other children there with Leukemia. One day they were there and the next day they were gone. These special children all played together and did most everything together while in the hospital. My daughter would be 48 years old today had she lived. All of those 19 other children did not make it and I suspect they are having a ball in heaven. I have two sons, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 2 more great grandchildren in the oven at present, so all is good.
