Doing great!
Just got back from a week's vacation in North Carolina. Played a lot of golf and had a lot of fun - was definitely a good getaway. I'm doing pretty well, still have my eyes on the prize, just got a friend sworn in at my RSS. Just waiting and waiting. January couldn't get her fast enough. You??

oh its the same ol same ol marine corps day long annoying and stressfull but other than that just taking my meds for my knees thanks to the marine corps i got patellar tendonitis aka jumpers knee which is painful

Yup, it's a task of constant self improvement. I love it though. Just keep running, start running every other day. Minimum 1.5 miles. I try and do atleast 0.5 or a mile ahead of what we are doing at the recruiting station or whatever task is needed so when the real task comes up, I'm ahead of the ball game already. Yea, I'm open contract as of now as well. Supposed to get the MOS I'm looking to get (Combat Engineer) in October, when jobs for the 'new fiscal year' open up. Good luck to you!

well i know bootcamp has changed alot since ive been it but it is still hard easiest piece of advice i can give is dont worry about what the next thing they are gonna say just focus on the command they gave you and do it to the fullest. oh and also remember why your joining and your family. thats what got me through boot camp
