Hey Corporal! GSE's the way to go. I chose 72 and West Coast. I'll find out in a week when I get to Unit 6. I'm testing out tomorrow for Internal Combustion Engines. I really hope I get Coronado. I have friends in that school and my family in So Cal.

Yeah I had the chest x-ray and it came up negative, the doc said the same thing so I hope meps will understand. Thanks for your help.

My recruiter gave me a call today about someone that handles the MOS's coming Saturday for our IST so I will have a talk with him, hes probably just the CO of NY recruiting station. I plan on switching to infantry if it is open. I talked to my dad who was a cop/narc/detective for 20 years in NYC. He supports my choice in infantry cause its something I know I want to do and while aviation mechanic will get me big money outside the Corps, If I dont like it, I wont do it. If I dont like it, 5 years of it would be enough for me. I'll keep you updated though. Thanks for the back up by the way! Haha

I do go back every now and then, still have family in Brentwood. The reason I am so far away is when I met my wife while stationed at NAS Millington (the A school location back in the 90's). And yeah I miss it bad enough that I have actually joined the National guard about a month or so, I leave for OCS next week.
