  3. You're a better man than me. I had trouble going back to a little school down here in Louisiana. There's no way I could sit in a class room at UC Berkeley and not kill somebody. I spent most of my free time walking around campus and pulling the anti-war poster down and sitting in my deans office explaining to him how his text books were historically inacurate.

Answer to your question is that it was truly an experience. I basically walked the streets like I would snap and kick some hippy's ass. Around my professors, I always kept my military bearing and joked that if they didn't do what I wanted, I may snap and take them out from the clock tower. LOL.

One cool experience was getting involved with the NROTC. The Marine SNOIC was an admin staff sergeant and needed some help organizing their pistol team. I actually discovered that Berkeley has a secret pistol range under the track stadium! It was cool hanging out with the Mids because they were as gung ho as any wannabee officer could be.

Other than that, nobody really got in my face. There was a labor strike while I was there but I chose not to cross the picket line. I toyed with the idea of crossing it, though, and see what limp dick would confront me. ha ha ha.

Semper Fi Bro and I'm a Disney Fan, too.
