You graduated from boot camp the day I arrived. I arrived at 1st MAW in April of 69 and was in MWCS-1 at the comm center. I lived in the old French barracks next to the ARVN Artillary unit a couple of buildings up from the E-club by our mess hall. Funny how life circles around.

Is your property on Sugar Maple Rd. or Coveyville Rd ? I'm looking at the area from 2 different satellite maps and "Military Creek" is between those 2 rds. I see some properties just north of the lake...can you give me some sort of reference point I can look for? Is the creek walkable or do I need my canoe? Awfully damn nice of you to make the offer....my son and I are going "up north" for 4 or 5 days next week ,or the week after, we will add the Creek to our list....let me know specific's and directions to your property.This is great...we always try to fish new waters, they always bring new adventure's.

Believe it or not I own 5 acres of land north of the North Twin. I didn't know the name of the creek that ran past my property was "Military Creek" but I do now! Thanks! The creek runs through a trout pond on the north end of my property. Your more then welcome to trout fish there if you wish.

Nope. Never worked on F-4's. Seemed the Corps always wanted me working on "Odd Ball" stuff, never front line jets.

I trout fish the "Deerskin" just north of Eagle River....I believe Military Creek runs into the north end of "The Big Twin" I've never fished it,but I know it's there.I do most of my running around the" Nort Woods" in the Boulder Junction-Minocqua area.Grew up on Trout Lake in the summertime when I was a kid.....beautiful country!!

My dad played from 1943-49...played for Curly Lambeau and lived in a hotel downtown during the season...he never had a house up there,he came back to Milwaukee during the off season to work.I've got a picture of my dad with Tony Canadeo,Don Hutson and Curly Lambeau...I'll post it with the others on my info page....
