Indeed, January it is. The 20th isn't going to come soon enough though. I'm hella anxious, and wanting to go. What day do you ship?

Hey! Always great to see poolees on here from Illinois!

i'm not sure how many poolees we have....I was the only female poolee but I think there are two more college students or something. I've never met them. I'm the only girl class of 2009

lol. i was going to do army national guard lol...then during the summer i ran into a Marine recruiter, visited the office and got hooked on the Marines. I started hanging out with them since then but didn't enlist to the DEP until I turned 18.....

and why not pendleton? it's like a city of it's own....i don't wanna be in 29 palms, i want Okinawa.

lol wow i can't imagine being over 6 feet. and that sucks we probably won't be able to see each other at poole functions cuz i go to the ones up north. when did you decide you wanted to join the Marines and why? also where do you want your duty station to be? east coast, west coast or overseas in japan...i'm thinking overseas

and ahhhhh i want to go to boot camp now!!! lol
