Good Luck with recruit training, Get Some, YUT!

Don't try to sweat it out. It's only going to dehydrate you and make you feel like **** later, not to mention that all that weight will come back as soon as you drink a couple glasses of water. Do it the right way and you'll be alot better off for it. I'm sure that if you can do the IST and you're a couple pounds overweight the'll look the other way. You'll lose a ****ton of weight first phase, gain half of it back 2nd phase (MREs), and even out 3rd phase.

I was going through the forums and I found the thread you posted about leaving to recruit training in july 27, just thought i would let you know that ill be leaving that day too !!

Hey girl. Sorry i didn't respond that quickly, been busy as heck. Workouts been going great. Did a 6 mile run the other day and almost died on the way back, lmao. And my recruiters said I wasn't running fast enough so they made me run a hell of alot more after that in a relay race. I thought I was going to die, but I felt good afterwards, lol. Some stuff's come up and I thinking about switching my MOS to Nuclear, Biochemical, radiological...blah blah blah. That stuff. Except I heard you get gassed like a million times and I don't like the sound of that. OMG! The clocks winding down!! Lucky you, you'll be like 2 weeks ahead of me. lol. Got PFC waiting on the table and when i come back for recruiting assistance i should pull off LCpl. Fingers crossed. Also found out that my contract is open to two MOS schools, Dam neck and Pensecola. Going down to the island this coming 22nd (2nd trip down there in 6 months, lol) my sister's graduating. I swear I should just move there. lol. Then in like 3 more months i'll be down there again. lol. Well TTYL. keep me posted.

yeah i hear you, well thats good, i need to train more often, im actually kind of worried. i can only PT like once a week because im so busy with school and i live kind of far from the recruiting office, so it just takes time to drive there and drive back, eh. But once school ends, Im going to be picking up alot of PT, need to get on it.
Yeah and this weekend we have a poolee function and i was just informed we are having family day and are about meet Parris Island drill instructors... im like excited but like am not entirely sure what to expect LOL should be interesting..... Have you done anything like that yet?

Lol my mos is Intel 26xx, i joined because i wanted to be apart of something big, travel the world (kinda followed into my fathers footsteps too), and do a service for my country and the Marine Corp def. appealed to me more than the other branches. but i have a GED, so im in the middle of finishing up my 15 college credits i need before going. So ive been very busy, unable to PT like i should, which sucks. But at the end of this month, school will b over so im going to b jumping right on it. so how about u???? whats ur mos, etc.?
