Sheriff? I am a officer here in Hoover, Alabama

I joined at 17 as well. I spent my senior year just doing enough to graduate so I could go to boot camp. I went to the Vietnam Memorial my last summer home and it just fueled the fire to make it.

The best part about being in the Corps is knowing that there are so few of us. It's not all brothers in arms crap. You still have Marines picking fights with eachother and stealing from eachother but regardless of that, it's a brotherhood and when you discharge, every Marine, no matter what path he has chosen after he gets out, is your brother. I have done things for Marines that I would not do for a civilian. I've driven drunk Marines home, called their family to pick them up or just helped anyway I could...this mostly while on duty working my assigned beat.

i havent been able to join yet. lol when i turn 17. ill be 17 in a like 8 months =[ i cant wait to join the marines..

what was your favorite part about being in the marines?

i got a question. im joining the Marines and so is my friend. my friend wants to become a cop after he gets out. how easy was it for you to become a cop after you get out.
