Military Biography:

I was a 2811 Telephone and Switchboard repairman 4th echelon. Received Comm. training at MCCES 29 Palms, CA. Deployed to Okinawa where I served in HQ Co., 7th Comm. Bn., 3rd MarDiv rotating back to Camp Pendleton in 1978 HQ Co., HQ Bn., later TDY Service Bn. MCB Telephone for my final year of active duty. There I received a Meritorious Mast and a Letter of Commendation for service above and beyond the call of duty. I received this Commendation with another Telephone Tech (Cpl. Kelly D. Kimber) for work we did installing a key telephone system (sometimes during our liberty hours to assure their communications were never out of service during the entire weeks long installation) for Tanks Bn. I received meritorious promotion to PFC out of boot camp. Discharged Honorably on 31 March 1979.
