Hi Elliscraig12 - Thank you for asking about my boys. The older one's two year wait to try again is almost up and he is working on getting back in. The recruiters here are great and are working with him. I think it will be difficult but hopefully everything will work out. The younger one is still working on finishing high school. That one is going to be the death of me!!! Hopefully I will get him out of school and off to boot camp soon before I end up in a straight jacket.

I'm not a Marine Mom yet but hopefully someday I will be one X's 2!!!

How are your boy's doing now? I hope those issues are done with.

A very belated thank you for the birthday wish Rhode Island. I haven't been on in a while because I just needed some time to come to terms with all that happened with my son. It's been almost a year and a half since he came home from boot camp with the medical issue and he is ready to go back. He had a two year wait and that will be up in July. He went to see his recruiter this morning to see what the first step is to get back in so the journey begins, again. Only this time my journey will be as a mom of two who wish to become Marines. My two boys are now planning to go in together...

Thanks Doc. Because of the contact that I have had with Marines so far, I know that he'll be fine. Y'all watch out for your own and soon he will be one of you. He's a good kid with a lot of drive for doing this. I have never seen him work so hard at anything. I will worry, but I would worry even if he was going away to college, maybe more!!! I'll be on here a lot while he is gone because I think it will keep me sane. I love the straight talk that I get from all of you, even if it seems a little harse to some people. It's the truth the I need.
