Hey Lacy. Yeah, I'm an old one. Your burning there? I still get cold at night, give it about month and it's my favorite time of year even though that's when I leave for Uncle Sam's Summer Camp. As for what to do in Pensacola, the list is short around there depending on what your into and how much time you have. If you want to shop, you can check out Foley, Al or Destin, Fl which are both like 45min from the base Foley is a bit more country where is Destin is where all the snow birds go so it's kinda beach resort town. There is also nice beaches and clubs/bars there if thats what your into. Pensacola will also get some cool concerts from time to time. If your into Hard Rock, the Music as a Weapon tour comes to the Pensacola Civic Center on April 4th. If your into car racing, there is Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola also, not sure where it is in relation to the base though. They have a minor-league hockey team with the ECHL called the Pennsacola Ice Pilots which play out of the Civic Center. Course there is golf to, if that's your thing.

Sorry I can not be of more help, I never really spent much time there except for during golf tournaments I was in.
