when do you ship?

I hear if you want to make guide, SCREAM your ass off during receiving. You have to be the meanest and most unforgiving biatch on PI to volunteer for guide.

Your life is gonna suck just a little more, but then again you are in MC boot lol. I'd love to be the guide but in summer men's platoons are like 90 each and chances are slim.

Ohh...those are the best poolee functions! The DIs are with you for the whole day. I got maybe 1 hour of sleep the night before and I don't recall being tired for the rest of the day until I actually went home and crashed...it was like a big adrenaline trip.

Time will fly by so quick because you are always busy doing something...PTing, drilling, being chewed out haha. It was fun; matter of fact, I enjoyed it so much at the time I got chewed out for 'smiling' lol.

I actually kinda missed the DIs when I went home.

And yeah I want the smokey bear too!

I see the most motto recruits with 300 PFT, all that business, ship to MCRD and then read their letters from first phase.

All of them say it's demoralizing and that they want to quit. After that it's a cruise and most say they are actually having a fun time.

From what I hear from most Marines is that no matter what, you will be scared and wondering what you are doing there. Thirteen weeks later you'll be laughing at all that silly sh*t.

Have you been to those poolee functions with DIs yet? Gives you a mini taste of boot camp, fun times.

Yeah I went a long way last 5 months, from failing every single portion of the IST miserably to 13:15, 8 chin ups and 66 crunches, also dropped something like 20 pounds.

By the time you leave (sept) you should be kicking serous az$ at PT.

You don't have to the best scores as long as you give it your best. My RSS has like, 10 poolees lol. Nobody wants to join out of East Salt Lake, all a big college party. I'm the only one from my HS to go in any branch.
