Thanks for your kind words. In your bio I see you work with Veteran Affairs. Are you familiar with "Cuncurrent" pay? I have a rating of 70%, 40% military related and 30% combat. I am told I am not qualified for concurrent pay as I have 19 years 6 months and 4 days. When I retired in 1975 I was not aware that not having 20 years would disqualify me for future benefits. Is there some type of grandfather clause? After all were you to round up my years active duty to would amount to 20. In addition, I was assigned 10 years of Reserve time making me first up for recall.
I'm curious as to what if anything you might advise. I talked to Hdqtr Marines, Congressman, etc. with no straight answer.
