Yeah that makes total sense. Well if you are really wanting to do it man, I will help you make that happen. I am willing to help you to become a Marine, like you said and you are absolutly right its a brotherhood here with the Corps. We take care of our own. Also I was wonder how old are you.

Oh yeah I did have a great Christmas had the whole family around so that was cool. How was yours.

Oh I hear you man, I have been doing alot of traveling this last year around the US, I have been wanting to go to Germany for sometime now. I got alot of family over there. So how is the whole Marine/Army thing going make a decision yet lol. Semper Fi

Yes, and being as you are not in the Marine Corps DEP, you are not a Poolee. You need to change your status to Marine Friend. Also if you want to let people know that you served in the Army, so there is less confusion on who it is you are, and why you are here. I will email on of the MODS to get your status changed.

Well first and foremost you are welcome no prob, I realized right away that you were prior Army, and had served a bit. So let me thank you for your service. Two yes there are alot of boot Marines on here lol, however there are also alot of Old Salts on here that run things, so not to sound mean, but I would retract that statement about all Boots running the show here lol. No harm done though in my eyes. Three and most important I am glad to call you a friend here on our site, however I just want you to know here on Leatherneck.com, if you are not a Marine you are simply a guest. We have certian rules. One don't argue with Marines, It will get you kicked off the site, Two as Im sure you understand, we as Marines can be very Opinionated, this is no disrespect to you, it is just how it is. However Im not saying don't stick up for your time in the Military, because it is your right, especially to a boot who dosn't know shi$. You have earned your ranks, and stripes, and place in the United States Military. Im telling you this as a friend as some frienldy advice, so next time you don't get yourself a$$ fu#$@$ by a bunch of old salts on here lol. Lastly if you really wanna go Airborne with a guarentee then I would recommend staying in the Army, however if you want the adventure of being a PFC all over agian, and want a new adventure unlike anything in the Army then by all means stay a while hear on Leatherneck, Feel out, and get advice from us.
