Hello Marine,
My name is Ross Cashman and I am a junior in high school and planning on enlisting when I graduate. I have already started talking with my recruiter about MP. Now I have some questions that he cant answer as he knows nothing about the MP MOS.
1. How do I make sure I get MP vs Corrections Specialists?
2. Are CS considered MPs?
3. They are two different jobs correct? One is combat MP and other is prison guard right?
4. Got any info on the newly created Law Enforcemen Batts?
5. Why does the CS badge say Military Police Corrections?
6. Do you wear the MP badge on Blues or Cammies?

I can answer that one...you only wear the badge while 'on duty'. Off duty, it's not a part of the uniform. You don't rate it if you leave the MOS.

Got a question for you bro, once you become an MP do you always rate the badge, or do you give it up when you leave the MOS? If you get to keep it, do you always rate to where it, or only when your an MP? Case of curiosity here lol, Semper!!!

hey! so right now I'm looking into the marines and my ultimate goal would be to do forensics. My recruiter told me that i would start of as an MP and work my way up. i read in one of your posts that being an MP is very hard can you explain that a bit more? Also obviously it will take a while to get to my ultimate goal but while being a MP what are things i can do to as far as careers?
