I was with Comm Co 2ndFSSG. Went to that tent a couple times but didn't play that much halo. You rember Taco night there?

I was in Camp Fox kuwait and got BF on the SPMATIF.
I was with Comm Co 2DFSSG what units were you guys in.

I originally hit the ground in Kuwait just around Christmas of '02 and left about May of '03. At first I was at KNB (Kuwait Naval Base) offloading MEF ships and building tent floors. I want to say the operations name was Firefly or some **** like that!? It was advance party from LeJeune 2nd FSSG 8th ESB Bravo Co. and it ****ed me off because I was supposed to EAS in May '03. When we went to Fox there was nothing there. You had to drive through a ****ing landfill with dead sheep laying around to get to the place. Our first night it was nothing but about 8 Haji tents. I went back and forth from KNB and the airport escorting new Marines to the "base" for a bit until some ****ed off Gunny didn't like the fact that a measly Corporal was in charge to escort 400 Marines to the base with no HUMVEES with .50 Cals on Kuwaiti highways. Then the MP's took over that detail. If I wasn't doing that we were out putting up ****ing wire by the berm. After that it was back to building desks for Colonels and trading tent floors for favors like E-Mail access from the Comm tents and Navy Sea-Bee washing machines. What about you?
