You chose to stand in front, when others chose to run & hide. You chose to protect those, who can’t protect themselves & for that I am thankful to you. It takes a very to choose to join the service & very special person to become a Marine. Kids often dream of becoming doctors, teachers & veterinarians but there are still some of us who dream of wearing the dress blues & earning the title Marine…and that’s because of the Honor, Integrity & Pride Marines have continued to have in themselves as the years go on.

People say their heroes are Superman & Batman flying around & protecting comic book cities. It’s obvious to me they’ve never met a Marine because if they did their heroes would be wearing Dress Blues or Combat Boots, not spandex & capes.
