Military Biography:

I enlisted in the United States Marines on Feb 9, 1999. I went to Boot Camp on Jan 19, 2000. I was assinged to MCRD Parris Island, SC Plt 1030, 1st BN, Follow Serise. I graduated Boot Camp on April 13, 2000. Then, I went home for 2 wks, before reporting to MCT at Camp Guiger, located in Camp Lejeune, NC. From there I reported to Court House Bay, for Basic Combat Engineer School. I graduated from MOS School in July 2000, went home for 30 days, with my new wife and new daughter that was born while I was in MCT. I was Married on Aug 9, 2000. Then left for MCAS Iwakuni, Japan for MWSS 171 Combat Engineers on Aug 13, 2000. I was station there for what was suppose to be a 1 year hardship tour, that turned into almost 3 years. I left the unit on Feb 13, 2003 on EML orders for 30 days, which turned in to 4 months, I seperated on June 20, 2003. Because I was need at home for my father who had taken ill. He died exactly 1 month after I was discharged. I spent about 1 year out of the military working as a Union Laborer out of Local 120 in Indianapolis, IN. Then, on Nov 4, 2004 I joined the Indiana Army National Guard ( ya, I know, the Army... wtf )...I sepent only a few Months on reserve status, before I went onto ADSW orders to Force Protection-Unit Police at Camp Atterbury. I was with them for 6 months, before we were disspanded. I then went on Active Duty MOB with the Installation Support Unit (ISU) Department of Public Works (DPW) for about 1 year. Then on Aug 27, 2006 I came off of Active Duty MOB and returned to my home unit on reserve guard status, there at Camp Atterbury. We've now moved to North Vernon, Indiana to Make up part of a new BRG, called the 219th Battlefield Servaliace BRG. I'm also a Union Carpenter out of Local 60 in Indianapolis, Indiana. I've been a Union Carpenter since September 2006. I have also had 2 more children since leaving the Marine. My wife and I had another daughter in April 2004 and a Son in Jan 2006, and 1 more on the way. END
