    Gunny....Welcome Home, Bro'! Late 68, and 69, were s**tty times for 3/3/3. I go to V.A. group's, one for Corpsmen and medics, and one for RVN Vets. 100%, now...P&T....doesn't fix any of my nightmares, guilt, or flashbacks. Lot's of anger, lots of Med's, and NOW...my old body is starting to break down. Had a good, and interesting life.....every day, is a blessing, and a gift! Growing up on the south side of Chicago was my whole world as a kid. I came from a poor Mexican American family so going to school and hanging around the neighborhood was pretty much the extent of my life experience.

Marine Corps Boot Camp was my first real experience outside of mommy and daddy's house. When I look back at it now I think to myself, what a way to get started in life. Talk about a rude awakening and culture shock. Nothing like a Marine
