    I am 83 yr old Vet was a corpsman on Okinawa with 2nd marine air wing Sqd VMF311 on Yontan Air field April 1945 hand full Marines & Major Jap Sallys snuck in rador behind our night chicks F4U Corsairs mess on field will share rest of story if any one interested My brother Phil Gunny sgt. on Iwo not sure 2nd Bat. or 22 marine help (appreciated) marines 5th div. same outfit that raised Old Glory now 87 yrs.old living Va Beach. Kinda sits alot wife told me called on BD. month back was allways very active. Growing old ain"t For Wimps just great marines. Buckeye83
