Combat History:

2003 deployed to Kuwait as part of task force tarawa. Beginning in March supported 0.I.F. during this tour engaged in battle of nasiriyah. On June 12th 2003 while heading back to the U.S. on USS Kearsage LHD3 was redirected to support Operation Shining Express to rescue Embassy personnel and American citizens during the second Liberian civil war. May thru November 2004 was deployed to Afghanistan and we was designated as an "Anti-Terrorism Battalion". Febuary-September 2005 Deployed back to Iraq, During this tour was involved with Operation Matador which was to clear region north of the Euphrates river above Al Qa'im in New Ubaydi, Operation Spear in Kara Bilah,Iraq along with Operation Quick Strike in Haqlaynuah,Iraq to help 3/25 who was engaged in Operation New Market and to releive 1/7. July 2006-Febuary 2007 Deployed to Iraq in Al Anbar Province a.k.a "Wilderness of Ziagon" city of Habbaniyah to conduct security operations along with stabilizing efforts. Also, want to give my respect to Company A 4th Combat Engineers Battalion who not only was attached to us but saved our asses many times.
