    Not a happy birthday. My cousin and brother MARINE died, ironically on my birthday. We joined together, but the corp with our best interest in mind made certain we never were able to serve together.
    Again! Thank you for your best wishes. Much luck be with you and God bless our Marine Corps.

    People say their heroes are Superman & Batman flying around & protecting comic book cities. It’s obvious to me they’ve never met a Marine because if they did their heroes would be wearing Dress Blues or Combat Boots, not spandex & capes.

    So here is a big thank you for your service & wishing you a happy 4th of July weekend from a very thankful & proud American.

    Hi marine, I realy don`t know where to start this coversation other than to say, my tour of duty
    started out at P.I. In July 23, 1953 ending Sept. 1956
    I was sent to Quantico for Special Weapon`s Instuction, and sent Camp Lejeune .
    To H & S Guard Co. MP`s ( Main Gate ) Spent 17 Month`s there,I was Then transfered to Stonebay, The old rifle range area in Lejeune, My Mos was AA repairman until i was discharged in 1956 . Oh by the way I recently contacted my jr DI after 50 years out of P.I. I am Currently A life member of the Western N. Y. Marine Corps League. Semper Fi . Former E-4 Al Harvey. USMC.
