Hey, thanks for the input on combat photography. I love photography, but i am afraid that if i have to do it as my primary MOS i will loose my passion for it. Taking photos of graduations may not be my cup of tea.

Was looking around on the forums and came across your Combat Photographer post. I do a lot of semi-professional photography myself, and that's what I was initially interested in. Due to the scarcity, there wasn't a job open for it for my ship date of 20100104, but that's alright, I had a back up. One con to the job that I've I heard that can be quite discouraging is that sometime you'll get stuck getting a crappy aspect of the job - sitting around all day taking promotion photos and graduation photos all the time, so watch out and try to dodge that if at all possible. Whatever you do, good luck and godspeed, had to stop by and put in my two cents.
