Hey, thanks for the friends request. I see from your profile you were with 3rd F.S.R. in Okinawa. I was in 2nd Service Bn, 2nd MarDiv (it was spun out 2nd Shore Party Bn) and I believe the full designator was 2nd SvcBn, 2nd F.S.R., 2nd MarDiv. We were one of those units (there were three which had red patches on the knee and in the center of the utility cover.

Was 3rd SvcBn a lower echelon unit of F.S.R.?

A search doesn't even turn up F.S.R. any longer that I can find.
