Hi Sparkie; nice to meet a fellow 2841. I mounted out of Pendleton with a tank platoon in ’65 and we supported amphibious assault missions. We were eventually offloaded up in Phu Bai, where I doubled up as a loader for Sergeant TJ Siva. I was later transferred to DaNang and never saw the guys again but I met up with some of the platoon last summer in Missouri, it was an amazing reunion. There’s a Viet Nam Tankers Reunion in August in Charleston SC but the guys from platoon aren’t going, so I probably won’t either.

I see we had the same MOS,,,,, and played with the same tanks. Don't worry,, I fixed em after you left. LOL. Good to know ya.
