Yep, that is the Holy Land. I still have about 5 pounds of sand from there. Amazing experience. I got to go there for the 56th Battle Commemoration in late Feb of 2001. The 31st MEU got to do an amphibious landing there a few days before that. How sweet (and eerie) would that have been?
