Gunnery Sergeant, Thanks for the heads up about the laser eye surgery in the AG Contracts post (It was moved to Ask a Marine so I couldn't post there). I wasn't aware that it was so complicated, I read a few other posts from poolees about getting it done while in and didn't realize the work. I talked to my recruiter today and although he was open to the idea, the SNCOIC said basically what you said. Needless to say I called up and cancelled the surgery. Just wanted to say thank you because your post gave me the heads up to re-check with my recruiter, and essentially prevented my discharge from DEP
