Evidently, I was getting out as you were coming in! I saw the 3rd Combat Engineer Bn. logo...recognized it right away! I was in H&S Co. there from March '77 to '78. Also at Fuji with the 1/4 Dec '77-Feb '78...Just by chance, was the guard tower still standing in the midst of the munitions bunkers? We were told the shifting of the ground in the winter (frost heaves) would make it tumble! I argued it would not! Who won?
