I got out of the Corps in May 2010. I got an honorable discharge with re-enlistment code of RE-1A. The only thing that has me puzzled is that I have PFT failures and I dont see how I got that RE code. Trust me im not complaining!!! If I do try to re-enlist will these affect me? The failures didnt come from lack of physical abilitay, but mental ability. My dad passed away and before my unit would let me go on emergency leave they made me run a pft and finish the rifle range, after that everytime i would run a PFT or shoot on the range it would pop back up in my head. My dad and I were really close, I went to the chaps and that didnt help. If im not mistaken E leave means they get you out as soon as possible. Please dont post up about me being weak thats not the purpose of this blog!!!!

Also I spent 4 years in as a 0622 and was put on 4 deployments and taken off every one of them so i still have that weighing on my mind, so you guys know where im coming from. I am also looking to change my MOS. I want something more combat related. I was told that I cant lat move into infantry is this true? If so what mos's can i lat move into that are more combat related?

thanks
