True to that....wont be easy, however if it easy, is not the Marine Corp...try to find or send s PM to SSgt Petz...he knows a lot about prior service and reup issues...he will give you a good advise...I`d been trying for a year already...i have all the scores,100 sit up, 20 pull ups, a 23:00 3 mile run, on weight 175, however my MOS is closed for reenlistment...put some mos for lat move, did not make the cut..we`ll see...i will keep trying..SEMPER FI!!

Thanks Sgt RC. My brother retired about 4 years ago, but stayed in J'ville. He emailed me the Marine Corps Order which clearly reads that I am eligible, but it is my understanding that I will need lots of phone calls and letters from important people to help speed up the process. Seeing how your profile is lacking info and I don't know anything about you, you might want to consider the officer route. Would probably be easier for you to get accepted that route rather than the WO route. Seven year Sgt..... Have you been in for 7 years or have you been a Sgt for 7 years? Not knowing your background of what you have done in the Marine Corps up to now..... How does your SRB/pro and con/ fitreps look? If you want to persue the WO route, look at them hard. On paper, are you one of the best in your MOS?

The Marine that felt the need to chew them out in Wal-Mart is probably lacking something somewhere and felt he needed to flex his musscle in front of the wife to make himself look good. Good initiative on his part but poor judgement on how it went down.

Goodenough89 - What his wife wears is totally up to her unless she is a Marine. She can go anywhere off base looking like a cheap 2 dollar ***** and noone can say anything. At least not in regards to the way Marines are supposed to dress. Keep in mind, she is simply a civilian and does not have to answer to the Marine Corps for the way she dresses or acts.

It's okay cause I was in the same predictament for quite some time. I volunteered for every single deployment there was. I even volunteered to go to 990 which was a fap for what most called **** bags... It eventually came around.
