Medical MOS

I have a question for a friend that wants to be challenged but they she also wants to be a medic. I know that the Marine Corps do not have medics but what could she do to maybe help her in the medical field

Her question can best be answered by a recruiter in another service, as to what she can best do to qualify for a medical MOS in their service.

The Corpsmen I have seen attached to Marine units were all male.

Times may have changed, I don't know. But on Our Birthday, I always raise a toast to Scotty, the best Marine a squid could ever be.

When I was with MWCS-28 which is part of II MAW we did have a woman corpsman. Well, almost. She was an HN not HM like the corpsmen are, I don't know what the difference is. Anyway, there isn't anything in the Marine Corps that would help her with being in a medical field.
