Just sitting here thinking about what you don't see in sports any more;

Straight on as opposed to a soccer style Field Goal kicker

The drop kick

Two handed set shot in basketball

Cheerleaders who actually cheer

Goalies without masks

But the one constant that has not gone away thank God...the uniforms of the USC cheerleaders........:D

Players who ply the game because they love it, not for the big $$$$ involved.

Players who are not pre-maddonas.

Players who do not use enhancement materials to better their game.

Football players who get drafted into the NFL who actually went to class in college and studied something other tan communication/basket weaving.

Athletes who served their country. With the exception of a few, David Robinson, Pat Tillman, no one bothers to serve

Long gone are the likes of Ted Williams, Bob Feller, Roger Staubach etc
