I haven't found the right answer I'm looking for on here yet. Maybe someone can help with this. I put on my forms that I had smoked marijuana 20 times and now my recruiter says that I cant get in intelligence because of it. I am 24 now and I was 17 the last time I smoked it. I don't see how that defines the type of person I am now?... Also when the economy went south a few years back I lost my job and struggled as long as I could till I had to file bankruptcy. On paper I may look like a lazy pot head or it might be understood that good people fall to bad circumstances. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
also I did make high enough asvab to do the job.

For a top secret clearance, anyone that has used marijuana/hasish more than five times is DQ'd, at least for a someone in your case. It might be different for someone that has been in the Corps for some time, but they aren't really going to waive someone who is just joining and had a history of being a habitual user.
