So...since i didnt see anything about this on the forum already i thought id post it. Anyways I didnt even know that the disovery channel was doing this show. I saw the Recon show but thought that was it for there series about the Marine Corps. Its gona be on this wed for all of you who aspire to be more than just an infantrymen in the Corps. I talked to this sgt who was in a STA platoon...("Surveillance and Target Acquisition" which now i think is just called Scout sniper platoons) and said it was a great choice especially if your looking at becoming a reconnaissance marine there because having experience already as a sniper show that you have already proven yourself an asset to the reconnaissance mission bieng that a scout snipers main job is reconnaissance and gathering intel. So that was just his 2 cents. But anyways anyone whos got questions just hit me up.
