Nine years ago today our country was attacked. Over 3000 were murdered.Our way of life has changed forever. I just want to say thank you to all our service men and women who have worn the uniform since that "day of infamy" and who have gone in harms way to preserve our way of life

9/11 was a bad day nine years ago.

10-23-1983 They should have unleash us on these terror, Beruit was a bad day were 241 died and things kept happening. The USS Cole, World Trade Center in the garage bombing. The Air Force Barracks bombing. They did not unleash the dogs of war until they hijacket planes and flew into the buildings.

They waited around during the time in November and early December of 1941 and look what they let happen. They let Pearl Harbor get attack, then it caused us to get into world War Two.

The question is why do we wait until something happens then we take action ?

Thank you, YW. The level of some people's blind hatred and generalization of an entire religion, culture, and people is a bit appalling to say the least. I happened to go through boot camp with a number of recruits who were and are Muslim, and all of them are fine Marines now. :thumbup:

In every culture, can I say religion , there is a God or symbol of War or Vengeance. Michael the Arch Angel? Lucifer? I have yet to learn of any religion , that was devised by man, that doesn't have some sort of passage, message, or the like, with various interpretations, true or not, that doesn't leave open the justifying of bloodletting or retribution. It's gang cultural warfare, with territories in question...simple as that. Religion is just a guise.
Make no mistake about it, I am religeous. I just don't feel comfortable with organized religion. As long as there is something called "human nature" I have a hard time believing any religon is so pristine and pure and the only path to follow to absolute salvation, promising virgins...whatever. To many azzbites have used religion to further their own personal gains, wether they ,or their followers, were in the minority. Having children strap electronically detonated bombs to themselves for their own personal gains isn't religion, it's gang warfare. Fugg 'em. They are scum of the earth, bottom of the barrel but slick guerilla warfare experts.
One doesn't have to hate. One that just have to keep in mind and deal accordingly.
