Marines, Poolees, and Future Marines,
I'd like to, and proudly so, inform the people of Leatherneck that I have returned from Parris Island with the Title. For those veteran members of the community, you will remember me. I can remember joining these forums as a young boy still just in the Young Marines program, so eager to enlist. Years flew by, and through that time, this forum has played a major role in influencing my knowledge and sense of espirit de corps even before the true professionals and tribulations that lie ahead of a new recruit on Parris Island and San Diego instill.
Graduated PFC on 20100903 at 1000. Needless to say, I ensured myself and my parents were the first to fly out of that Island via car, going anywhere but there. Far, far away. :marine:
Going to take some more time to unwind and get everything ready for MCT before I sit down and enjoy the boot leave. Hopefully get RA so I can have some extra time to settle in and enjoy giving back to the RSS that allowed me to stand here today.
Thank you, Leatherneck, for providing such a great source knowledge. This place is truly a great gift to all of the Marine Corps; whether you be a Marine, a wannabe Marine or friends and family. One Mind. One Corps.
P.S: Proud to have been a 3rd Battalion thumper, Mike Co. Ooh-rah!:beer:
Semper Fi.
