Just sitting here listening to some music, got me thinking about my boy Florez who passed almost a year ago. One heck of a Marine right there. I remember this guy came off a three day convoy/field op (during a modified mojavee viper) no shower, hardly 3 hours of sleep the hole time, caked in dirt and dry sweat, showed up an hour late for the Chaplains service in the field but still managed to have the biggest smile you ever saw. Never saw him without a smile. That thought always makes me grin a little and I just thought I'd share that.
