View Full Version : Sit Up Advice Needed!!

Im doing a pathetic (In my eyes) 65 sit ups. I have one month left before I leave for Boot Camp. Need tips on how to improve this number. From what Im seeing, everyone on their IST is doing 100+. Should I be up there to?

Any advice & opinions are truly appreciated.

Not a "sit-up", but a crunch. Crunches will do wonders if done properly.

remember crunches not situps the range of motion is extremely different. in doing a PFT crunch your shoulderblades only have to touch the deck and then your forearms on your thighs. so go down till you feel the bottom of your shoulderblades touch NOT all the way down then come back up also i tuck my feet as close to my a$$ as possible this makes the distance to crunch very short.
