I have a question for ALL of us ! What do you say defines being American ? The LAW or the spirit (heart) of OUR founding fathers ? The pride of being American or the LAW that says you are American ? I believe there are some on here that are clearly confused on what an American is ! I personally am NOT !! I am an American and I say that by my spirit ( heart), NOT by the law. S/F Moz :iwo:

Reserving the rite to do as I damn well please,
when I damn well please and do it armed if I damned well please.
To do with the money I earn what I damn well please.
Wheather I want to spend it or save it and not be told I have to give
it up to fat, lazy scum bags that won't get off their lazy asses and
get a freakin' job.
And to do all of this without so much as a "By your leave" to anyone
that is not an American.
Want to be an American? Do it right by God and don't even think
of giving me crap for being a real American that actually SERVED
this Country.
Triggers are to easy to squeeze. Don't jack with me.
I'm not in the mood:evilgrin:

Born here to 2 American parents. Also the desire to defend this country. Defend against those who want to demolish this country. I.E. the current government.

I shall always be a Constitutional Conservative.

Yes I to get p*ssed at those who will not work but I keep in my heart the reminder that my parents were both Americans and that I am American and a Marine as for those who would try and take this land down I say we are not alone and we will fight for that is the American way.

I have no church, my religious beliefs are my own business.
My political orientation, is strongly independent, and again, my own business.
I'm Hetero-sexual, and proud of it, but I don't beat other people over the head with that fact.
I eagerly enlisted, to serve MY Country, and I am proud of that fact.
When challenged, I respond, and I consider those who present any danger to MY Country, and My People, to be MY Enemies.
I"M AN AMERICAN ! :iwo::flag: s/f!!! KEN

Being an American to me is being able to go out, and do the things I want to do. However within Moral Grounds, and knowing the difference between right and wrong, and helping those in need, when they need it.

What defines being an American. I could say many things, but I will
yield to a Canadian named Gordon Sinclair and his 1973 speech called
The Americans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGJynE37Npg&feature=related

Maybe we should also ask, who are the Americans.

S/F Moz :iwo:Id say some of both. They are lots of young men and women who have the spirit of a Marine. However there are still some things they have to do to earn the title.
