Prayers for deploying Sailor

A step family member of mine is currently in the Navy reserve and will be deploying to the Kandahar province in Afghanistan. He is moving security and will be placed with an Army infantry unit. He will be in the heat of the war, and most likely does not have much protection. He will be deployed for a year.
I know hes not a Marine but every deployed servicemen deserves prayers and a safe return home.
His name is Johnny, and I would appreciate if everyone kept him in there thoughts & prayers & support. Thank you very much!

My prayers are with him no matter what branch of the service he is with. They are there to do a mission and protect this fine country. May GOD shield him and protect him.
