This seems like a dumb question but I would really like to know the answer, in bootcamp are you forced to do pushups a certain way? I am talking about the "military style" with elbows tucked into your sides vs. elbows out style.

You are going to Marine Corps boot camp, not a plain-jane summer camp. What do you think the answer is?

You will do ALL PT the "Marine Corps way". Ask your recruiter exactly what that is, and they'll happily show you, likely at the next poolee function.

Now granted...if you are on your 15th minute in the pit...the DIs are not going to be worrying about form. They just want to make sure that you have the determination to keep going!
