"hayse: I was in the Marine Corp as an Intel Analyst. I was an Arabic linguist in the Marine Corp, but when I got out it was very hard for me to find a job because of my rank. In order to get a civilian job doing the same thing I had done in the core, I’d have needed to be in the Marine Corp with five to six years field experience. So I couldn’t find a job and I was like, what am I going to do? So I started stripping. I mean I was waitressing too, but it wasn’t paying the bills."
Her statement about being a Arabic linguist and being unable to find a job is pretty questionable, especially since there are many contracting companies out there looking for translators.

After I saw this post I had to respond. I attended DLI/FLC with "Chayse Evans". Yes, she graduated the basic intelligence analyst course. She then attended DLI/FLC as her follow on school to learn Arabic. She never graduated. She never passed her DLPT. She was never considered by anyone an Arabic linguist. During her tenure at DLI/FLC she was medically separated from the Marine Corps.
She never served as an Arabic linguist in either the operating or support forces. It was probably very hard for her to find employment as an Arabic linguist as she has absolutely no experience and no proficiency in the language.
The only thing I do give her credit for is that she has remained vocal in her support for the Marine Corps, and her fellow Marines in a time when it has become fashionable to speak out against us.

Thanks. I wondered because every Marine ever blabs their MOS within seconds after "Where Boot?" and "What Units?".
Even me, and I had the worst MOS ever. Even the cooks learn some jobs skills.

yeah i was at 3rd rad with a bunch of lings that knew her. she was kind of a legend on deployments. i have seen a ton of her work. not too bad for a wook.

She was an 0231, but was medically discharged before completion of her secondary MOS school (DLI/FLC).

I wish Marine would using the term formal when there is no such thing since they graduate from Marine Corps Boot Camp. Same goe's with the term x Marine
