So i know the corps is pretty full right now and im still in the IRR. Ive been told thats its really easy to go from IRR to reserves but my question is, is if i cant go back into active duty can i go reseves and then go active duty (not AR), kind of like a back door?

It should be just the checking in process to go from IRR to active reserves and you shouldn't have to sign a contract or be obligated for a term of service. That's at least how it worked in 1995, however more brothers should be along to give you an idea about switching from reserve to AD, judging by some threads a while back it seemed more difficult getting from the reserves to AD than getting back in straight to AD..
