I originally came into the Corps as a reservist and went active. When my active contract ended I came back to the reserves and now my 8 yrs is ending. I intend to stay in the reserves for now and retire, but I cant find any maradmins giving details on reserve reenlistment. I am being told that I can reenlist in the IRR and continue to drill if I choose to, but will remain a non-obligated reservist. Is this correct? Does anyone know of an official maradmin that states one way or another? Thank you greatly for your help!
