Looking at joining the marines

I have talked to a couple recruiters and I am getting two different stories, I am married with two kids and have a GED not high school Diploma, one says I have too many dependents but a GED is Fine the other says I cant enlist with a GED, some facts would be greatly appreciated, Thank you in advance

First, you're posting in the wrong forum. Open Squad Bay is for Marines only.
Second, you need to fill out all of your profile so the Marines who are going to answer your questions know who they are talking to.
Third, you should read the rules in the poolee and Ask A Marine forums.
Fourth, do a search on the site as these topics have been covered many times before.

And most importantly, Marines is always capitalized.
