Watched "America's Got Talent last night and there was a group of men and women veterans who used to be homeless. These former warriors all belong to an organization of which I forgot the name of, but it has saved their lives. The spokeperson for the group said he was a former Marine. The lead singer last night has been homeless for 25 years. They sang "Old Man River", and I had a few tears as did the packed theatre. They received a standing ovation and are moving on to Las Vegas, as right now its only auditions.
If you have never seen this show, it is one of the better shows on TV during the summer.
