That facebook page is the funniest **** I have seen in a long time. Whoever came up with it is brilliant. There must be 30 or 40 different bull**** links to "friends" that have some hand in making that page. Guys like Gunny Saltydog and Lcpl Schmuckatelli. Too bad I am a friggin POG, so I need to stay the hell out. Funny **** though.

By the looks of it, the POS definitely failed himself.

That young fellow needs some serious PT.
I think I would rather shoot myself than check in
like that. Although I did check in with hair a bit
to long once. Never again! lol.

Geez! There's a fat body if I ever saw one.In some respects I can sympathize with the guy. While I was in the corps you weren't allowed in cash sales to buy new uniforms without a Sgt. and above with you.It happened on more than a few occasions where we practically pleaded with the Sergeants in the platoon to take us to cash sales. Most of the time when we asked we were just pawned off on someone else because they refused to do it.So what is a Marine to do but, constantly get chewed out for ill fitting or torn uniforms until he can find a Sgt. willing to take time out to take him to cash sales.

Wow thats crazy, and the times have deffinitly changed because that policy is not in use anymore. This guy doesnt have an excuse for looking like that.

I'm glad this policy was S**t canned by the Corps it left much to be desired.

You're right about that turd having no excuse. He looks like he could be a national poster child for "Save the Whales".

That's the way it was in the late 70's. You had to be a corporal or above to go there by yourself. The way it usually worked was this: if too many non-rates failed inspection with "unserviceable" uniforms, an unlucky sargent was "volunteered" to escort them to cash sales.
The idea was that younger Marines were not experienced enough to buy uniforms that fit them, and needed an NCO to help them out.

That picture has to be staged. There is no way. Well maybe there is. Lot of threads lately saying hi I'm rolly polly but want to join the Marines can you help me lose weight.

I think its impossible to be that fat...For one thing, when you leave boot, youre in shape...then again I saw things or "Marines" who graduated who shouldnt have...

anyway MCT/ITB (ITB I was down to 165lbs and left there at that weight) still sort of impossible to get fat unless you got dropped to SAC Co, even then to graduate to go on to check in to your UNIT, you had to be in some what shape..most of got picked up by units, and the POGs went to MOS School...soo heres the reason why I probably think he's a reservist....but I might be wrong...not a grunt thats for sure...

Sad thing is I actually know where this took place. This turd tried checking in like this to his unit ( MWSS374) the summer of... 2010 I think. I don't remember the full story or excuse this guy was giving as to why he was so F**ked up. But I do remember hearing "light duty" a few times. I'll have to ask and see if they admin sep'ed him yet or not.

My MOS school is a year long about and around the MC Ball we were doing inspections on our boots to make sure their uniforms were good and i had one that had a button almost take out an eye. not as bad as this guy but pretty damn bad. and no its not because of lack of PTing him because 5-6 miles a day was min as well as other fun. and some one asked why no belt probably because they dont make one in a size fat a$$

haha, thats not a half bad idea ChuckH. The skivvy shirt i ***** when i first came in is deffinetly made for a much lighter version of myself. But with this F'n boot stuff, ive got to see a few halarious pics from there. But not having facebook, i don't know if this rumor of it being cancelled is true or not...

If I attempted to get into my uniform THESE days.... I would probably look that bad. Went into boot at 235...came out at 190. Now.... at 60.... I weight about 220. Not bad for an old fart who really hasn't done PT since the late 70s.

Any of my LCpls ever looked like that....their fat asses would have been out at Zero Dark Thirty with me until they didn't look like sh!t!
