And they still leave medals, signs, notes. pictures, teddy bears, flags and
flowers. But most of all they leave tears, and memories, and the things you can't see, called love and feelings.

It is very emotional at 'The Wall; particularly on Memorial Day. No smiles just hugs and very somber stories:usmc:

I have an uncle on that wall...and dear old dad was in country in '68 during the Tet offensive....the only thing Dad ever told me about Nam was he wished he could put his lips to his own ass so he could kiss it goodbye.....LOL.....even now I don't whether to frikkin laugh....or cry.....maybe a little of both....
