"We are located adjacent to both the historic "Ranch House" (or Rancho Santa Margarita) and the Santa Margarita River - approximately 7 miles from the main gate at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA"
Dunno if that helps at all, I've never been to Pendleton so it's a foreign language to me.
Yea I was reading that earlier, but thank you for the help Cpl.

Area 23. Somewhat by mainside, and the Pendleton exit.
I could give you directions from 11th Marines, but that's about it, haha
haha, were narrowing it down!

Go in the Main Gate at Pendleton, drive North-East about 7-miles down Vandegrift Blvd and the airfield will be on your left (North). Can't miss it. If you get to Basilone Rd, you went too far.

Thank you Sgt.
You can find it easily on Google Earth or any similar program.

Its on the left, just before what used to be the BAM quarters. If you pass Basilone Road, you went to far.
From main gate from interstate 5 on Vandergrift toward mainside ask which way to Basilone Rd is. When you get to 22 area you can't miss this area there is alot of warehouses. Then on the other side from these warehouses is 23 area you will see hangers and Helicopters and a Control Tower, what do you think this is ? MCAS Camp Pen. If you miss these two places and areas you must be very lost or blind.

I could have told you 22 years or so ago but now I forget.

Are the gun bunnies still at Las Pulgas? I was MTM, our 3rd & 4th echelon shop was there, also. But, that was a looong time ago ('75).

Futenma was a crappy base for air operations back in the late 80s. Not just the urban restrictions but the runway was too short and narrow. I can't figure that it got any better over the years.
